2025 Annual Report
2025 saw tec[h]tonic shifts in the landscape. In 2025, IST approached the increasingly complex national security challenges facing our world as policy engineers with concrete tools and actionable solutions.
In our 2025 Annual Report, we reflect on the impact of our work to expand opportunity and mitigate risk, share stories of success from the last year, and give thanks to the supporters who supercharged our efforts.
2024 Annual Report
In 2024, IST worked tirelessly to advance a democratic world secured and empowered by technology built on trust.
Alongside trusted experts, policymakers, and industry leaders, we testified in front of Congress, inspired action by AI labs on risk reduction, joined the Private Sector Advisory Panel of the Counter Ransomware Initiative, and contributed directly to an expanded federal understanding of the role of venture capital in supporting U.S. technological competitiveness.
